GAME OVER - THE FALL OF CREDIT SUISSE

On 19 March 2023, the unimaginable happened: after a historic bank run, Credit Suisse, a symbol of stability and security, collapsed. The major Swiss bank, which is classified as globally systemically important and adorns itself with popular sports, film and music stars in its advertising, has been working behind the scenes with human traffickers, dictators and organised crime. It has plunged Third World countries into bloody civil wars and almost triggered the greatest global economic crisis in recent history.

This four-part documentary series reveals how, for decades, the people at the top of Credit Suisse lived by a corporate culture focused solely on personal gain — one that was greedy and risky — until the bubble burst and Credit Suisse was taken over by its fiercest competitor, UBS, in an unprecedented cloak-and-dagger operation. However, whistleblowers claim that this 'hostile' takeover by UBS had in fact been planned well in advance.
'Game Over: The Fall of Credit Suisse' is a high-end true crime documentary series that will also be released as a feature film. It tells the story of Swiss bank Credit Suisse's rise until its humiliating takeover by eternal rival UBS. It is a tale of arrogance, megalomania and ruthlessness, filled with greed and scandal. On the one hand, there are movie stars, football clubs, airlines, private jets, villas, sex and alcohol; on the other, there is chauvinism, drug money, espionage, jealousy, lies and a civil war in Mozambique — not to mention endless intrigue. The series looks behind the façades of the untouchables and shines a light on the billion-dollar business. Everyone trusted Credit Suisse, including heads of state, secret service agents, and mafiosi. In 2023, the bank managed over $1.252 trillion, employed more than 50,000 people, and was one of the 30 globally systemically important banks. This makes the colossus 'too big to fail' — until, despite everything, Credit Suisse falls. However, this decline proves to be self-inflicted...
