Lohengrin

The new production of Richard Wagner's opera "Lohengrin" opened at the Bayreuth Festival in July 2018. The well-known cultural journalist, Wagner expert, and Bayreuth connoisseur Axel Brüggemann hosted the supporting program "Bayreuth - The Show" on Sky Arts HD and Sky 1.

In the studio, he discussed Richard Wagner, "Lohengrin" and the new production with Festival artists and prominent guests, including Désirée Nick, Minister of State for Culture and the Media Monika Grütters, screenwriter, author and filmmaker Marie Noëlle, soprano Alexandra Steiner, bass-baritone Albert Dohmen, tenor Daniel Behle, director of the Richard Wagner Museum Bayreuth Dr. Sven Friedrich, the artist Gerhard Batt with his swan Sita, and comedian Thomas Hermanns.
