Hands of a Mother

After BERGFEST (2008) and NORDSTRAND (2013), Florian Eichinger's third feature film is the last part of a trilogy about the entanglements of family violence.

A family reunion on a ship becomes a turning point in the life of 39-year-old engineer Markus. When his son Adam (4) suffers a small cut from the toilet break he shared with grandmother Renate, Markus remembers for the first time what his mother did to him when he was a child himself. Markus and his wife Monika are confronted with an unthinkable truth, an offense unimaginable to be done by a mother.
